Caustic

In water treatment systems such as reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, a certain amount of ACID (HCl), COPTIC (NaOH) is dosed at the inlet of the water treatment system to balance the pH of the inlet water or to bring it to the desired pH level. As it can be dosed at the inlet of the system, it can also be dosed at the outlet of the system for pH adjustment.
